Hi all here is another plane started for the Warspite dio, started with problems from the off the joystick thingy the pilot uses to fly the plane flew out of the tweesers and the CM won this time so had to make a new one, then I cut the wrong bits off the foot peddle thingy so had to make some new ones of those. not a good start but anyway I am plodding on and here is what I have so far.

Looks like you've made a much better job of that kit than I did!

The LED looks intriguing ...

Check out "just for a change don't know what it is", in cars for a hint.

Most definitely my plan is obviously that ones going down, one of the 1/144 stuka's will be entering the sea near warspite and Warspite herself will have part of her deck blown off. That's how I see it at the moment but it could all change.

Yes Si there will be lots of leds in the dio, lots of water plumes from near misses (if it goes according to plan).

will have to cut the orange down a bit maybe a bit of blue or brown, also got to add the suspension and the flap (whatever its called that covers the wheel), will have to buckle that a bit and bend the suspension strut, but quite pleased with effect, just needs muddying up a bit and making more smokey.

That's very good!

As a historical fact the ammunition for the cannon in the wings had a nasty habit of blowing up and blowing the wing off when hit. There's a famous and often shown bit of gun camera footage showing exactly this happening. Later the heavily armoured versions of the Fw 190 had armour plate added to protect the ammunition boxes.

That looks excellent Ken! I don't think it needs changing at all.
