Some help please...

I have bought some Airscale decals, the individual instruments and dials, for my 1/32 scale HK M Mossie.

I have seen somewhere that there is some kind of hole punch people use for these to seperate them from the sheet. I am unable to find the right tool online. Can anyone point me in the right direction. All the dials of course are different sizes and quite close together on the sheet.

Hope this maybe of some use Barry cheers John

Thanks John, the only issue I can see is whether it will reach the 'inner' dials on the sheet as it seems a somewhat short distance from the 'bite' to the hinge. I have seen some photos of punches that are just vertical tools with interchangeable 'bits' that can reach anywhere. I have just been unable to find them to buy.

Probably looking for something like this http://www.micromark.com/micro-punch-set,8603.html not easy to find in the UK but cost a fortune. Read an article on the tinterweb ages ago where someone made a set using drill bits. They drilled the base and guide plate first then cut down the drill bits and ground the shank end flat to become the punch end.

Forgot to add, I did a cockpit with these decals but I just cut them out with a scalpel. After applying them, Microsol took care of any backing film issues.

You are right that is more like it, though not the one I remember seeing. Too pricey to be worth it, that one. Failing to find another solution I will use a scalpel. Not starting the model for a while so there is still time. Getting the key to the new house next week and it wont be for a few months before my man-cave is ready. I am getting itchy fingers, hence my forard planning for the build.....

Thank you Graham
