Seen a few YT vids on these, and wondered if they are any good or just a fad?
They are apparently about £2.50 to £3 per pen, acrylic, fast drying and waterproof.
Doesn't give the volume of paint, but does state that one pen would be able to draw a line for approx 60-70m. Does not sound like a lot of paint to me?

I also wonder whether they would dry out, how long the paint would last if not used, do they get blocked up, also the "nib" looks quite soft, so can it break, does it wear out, become blunt, etc, etc.
As the "nib" is quite large, I assume it can't be used for really small/fine stuff?

Anyone have any experience with them and are they re any good / worth a punt?
Cheers

I have a few and I’m very pleased with them.

I have used mine to do 1/72 cockpits and other small areas/parts.

I’m not sure they would be too effective on large areas but they definitely have their uses.

Jadlam models had whole sets of them for sale at Telford for 69.99n,They sold out really quickly.I think they would be great for switches etc in aircraft models.Maybe be great to paint camouflage on say 1 .144th models and 72nd armour.

I have some acrylic marker pens. There are plenty available on the market as they are used extensively in the art world. Shop around, you will get some much cheaper.
