discussion Alclad 2 1st timer

Just thought I would post a quick thread on Alclad 2.


It's the first metal paint I have used, yes you need a mask and good ventilation/extraction but my word it couldn't have been easier. I only sprayed some wheels, landing gears and bits and bobs but at 10psi it covered well and dried pretty quick. Will be interesting to spray an entire plane and I'm sure it will be more tricky.


I wasn't looking forward to this part of the build so it's a thumbs up for Alclad from me!

For some reason people are scared of using this. If you use right primer etc its as easy as any other paint

Exactly I was only anitially worried from what people had said, but it was easy really
