Here's a quick tip for (almost) free palettes. When you buy lozenges, medication, or anything else in a plastic tray, just keep it for a free palette. Obviously not as good as a wet palette, or a real one, but ok for a cheap and simple alternative. Of course, if you do want a real one, check out the shop

Any old tea plate or saucer once no room left stick in the sink over night wash off and good to go time after time. Dave
