After prevaricating for a couple of days I finally decided on my next build. My Lidl (or was it Aldi?) Xmas bargain Airfix kit. The DUKw amphibious vehicle.
Obligatory original kit pics, box, sprues, etc....
Few parts on the sprues look like they will need a bit of cleaning up, flash, etc...

That is a real golden oldie. Must be 50+ years old. The old Airfix parts on a tree rather than the sprues we see now.

Google Sefton Lifeguards DUKW for an unusual paint scheme :):):)

According to 'scalemates' it was a new tool in 1966!

In the inexplicable railway scale of 1/76?

Miko (my only 1/76 was Airfix Airfield Control Tower, the only mold Hornby didn't want, apparently?)

Quick update.
Fully built now and fully painted.
Just got to stick on the canvas cover then gloss then do a bit of weathering.
