Well that went a great deal faster than I thought it would!

Thanks to Colin for suggesting this, Ian for short-notice admin, and all those that have participated and/or followed along.

My aim was to produce three aircraft in different scales, 1/48, 1/72 & 1/144, as similar as possible, with matching paint schemes and squadron markings.

The three very different kits went together without major problems. Clearly the larger having much more detail took longer than the other two, but I'm happy with the outcome of them all.

They have turned out brilliantly Andy. How you worked on the 1/144 is beyond me. The detail on that model actually makes it look bigger but according to internet its only about 2.5 inches long. Great building.

Thanks Steve.
I've been having a browse at some 1/144 model groups on Farcebook and some of the work really puts mine to shame. I can't believe how good some of them are for the scale!

That doesn't detract from the fact that I'm really happy with what I've achieved though. There'll always be a bigger fish 😂

Here's a picture I put up on my socials for non-modelling friends, to give them an idea of scale

Thanks Steven, and yes Peter, I used a picture of a CD for comparison too but some of the younger ones might not have seen one of those either 😂
