discussion Anoyone a member of promodeller?

As the title says, is it worth joining for the videos? I've seen a few and they are quite good, but have they let you see the best one's for free?

I was a member for a while and whilst the vids are very good you can find the same subjects on youtube. Everyone on there was really helpful and i cannot fault my time on it. But at the end of the day i was paying for something that i could get for free elsewhere.

I am on Promodeller, and in Wales with internet way hay..... I do find Promodeller worth it but it is a different atmosphere to Scale Models. The full video builds have taught me most of what I know, notwithstanding the support and advice on here. I feel that the subscription to get the full video is worth it as I love to go back over how something was done.

I also use and love Promodeller wash which can be bought without joining and from other suppliers. Although it is not unfriendly, I do think it is more a passing comment for the sake of it rather than a well meant comment. I have received some great comments on the French Carrier and the Albatros. I don't know, it just feels different to here. I have had a lot of support from one member in particular but I think it will be a while before I get 'in the club' if indeed I ever do.
