There's the Southern Expo in Hornchurch, Essex. Just missed that one.
 
There is a hobby show in Brighton @ the Brighton Centre every February, that covers everthing from Lego to rockets & RC's. Unfortunately that is the only one that I am aware of that is south of London.

Yes Mark - there is also a London model show, again annually, but that's supposed to be kinda small from what I've heard.


Check out the IPMS website, they've got a list of shows I think.
