discussion Are these glues any good?

Hi All,

Today I saw the "The works" (theworks.co.uk) are selling a pack of 4 glue tubed for as little as £0.99. It contained 1 PVA, 1 clear glue , 1 clear glue (roll-on kind of tube) and one more I forgot.

These are sold under "StudioWorks" brand (their own brand??)...

I know I could just buy them and try, but just wondering whether anyone knows if they are of any good before I ruin a model?

I bought a couple of brushes from them a couple weeks ago very cheap but they were so bad that I'm now a bit suspiscious about these glues...however the price sounds great...

Any feedback is appreciated.

If a good deal then take the chance...if a bad one then forget about it

Hi mate i've seen them in our local shop but haven't actually bought them so far so iam unable to comment sorry mate.

You get what you pay for is as much a useful mantra in modelling tools as anything else. If it seems too good to be true,it probably is!!

They might be useful for diorama work though or weathering but I would be suspicuous as to thier long term suitability.
