I have just started a new build and it took 2 hours to drill out and make good the brake disc's and about the same to glue, fill, sand and prime the petrol tank! The weird bit is I am not a patient man but when it comes to model's I am so patient its unbelievable

Problem with me, apart from my disability getting in way is I get fed-up. So, get these great ideas and start then the pain starts, then it goes away and in the end I get sick of the sight of the chuffing thing...NEXT!

I know what you mean Polux. When I'm modelling I totally switch off from everything else.

I know I have a Command Hallucinatory Personality Disorder(true)


But my wife say's I quite often give running commentary on what I am doing whilst modelling(I don't realise I am doing it).


It took me a long time to learn how to be patient and modelling certainly helped with that.


Without modelling I would be back in the nuthouse.


My son alway's say's "how can you do something so boring".Well I'm not bored.

You want strange I'm a talking Guinea pig and I use my fur for diping in Superglue for attaching railings to model ships now that's strange
