Evening chaps,

Here is a recent project I’ve been playing around with over the last few months. It was an Eduard Bf109-G4 and Tamiya kubelwagen with Tamiya figures.
I’m still finding my way with dioramas and wanted to keep it simple.

In no particular order, some pictures....

Evening Mr. Benson,

A very nice dio you have put together there Sir!!! I like it a lot and the finish is excellent too. You don't really have to give it name or you could call it "Pre-flight Planning" or PP for short, if you like.....

Allen

PS, Did anyone mention that your Kubelwagen door is opened up the wrong way???

Thanks gents :thumb2:

Allen, i had no idea the Kubel doors opened the other way:flushed:. I‘ll get on it in the morning...thanks for that:smiling4:

A great looking dio. Si. I really like the exhaust trail over the wing roots. That nice brownish color you added speaks of high octane fuel and a well tuned engine...tip O' the Hat from them what knows. WELL DONE.

I got straight on it, Well it was better than Britain’s got talent :smiling5:

Luckily I had stick it on with a tiny amount of CA and it just cracked away intact

You'd be pulled out of the car if you opened the door to hurl or spit your chew while at speed. Briefly owned a 34 Ford/Olds roadster. PaulE

How odd, I considered trading my 55 Chev. for a 34 Ford sedan/389 Poncho w/tripower. Test drove it and changed my mind. rode like a truck! Rick H.

Yeah, but it would prolly stop & corner better than a stock 55. :smiling:PaulE

Hi Si
Hope you and yours are all ok in these strange times.
That is one very nice dio you have there. All the elements work well together. Plenty of interest and it tells a story. Figures are always nice to see in a dio. The Kubelwagen and the Bf109 are very nicely finished. I assume it's 1/48?

Cheers Jim,
All good here in sunny Littlehampton. Lucky to have been enjoying the lovely weather in the garden with the family.
Hope all Is good with yourself and family.

Yes your right it’s 1/48. I hadn’t realised quite how much 1/48 stuff was available for making aircraft based Dios!

I was hoping you would do a final reveal and you dont dissapoint. Wonderful attention to detail on all the main players. A cracking build all round. Thanks for sharing mate.

Brought up on Bayford Road just off South Terrace. Went to Connaught Road Juniors and Littlehampton Comprehensive. Went back there about 10 years ago and boy oh boy has it changed.
