Avis are anther of the Ukrainian short run makers - they produce a lot of extremely unusual models!
The Bristol Racer was designed to take full advantage of the then new Bristol Jupiter Radial engine. Unusually, it had a retractable undercarriage. The aircraft had severe handling problems & added to technical reasons was not a success - it first flew in 1922, and the single example was scrapped in 1924 - never actually haven take part in an air race.
Flimsy box, limited run of 500 produced - nice boxart

Decal sheet seems to have duplicates - I hope that isn't a reflection on their quality!
Instructions - folded A4 - line drawings
Only names for colour call outs ( hardly a problem ) Vague - the retractable undercarriage is magically attached - stages 4 & 5 no underside drawing to show where they actually go.
Detail shots:
A short run model, rather soft detail - a lot of clean up needed, unusual that the fuselage is split horizontally. There is a seat, rudder bar & control stick, but with such a tiny cockpit opening, probably enough.
I can see this being a labour of love - dry fitting & fettling skills essential. Certainly not for a beginner!
This is the only game in town ( there was a vac-form model years ago ) in any scale................
Availability? In stock by various retailers BUT prices are around £18!! ( + p&p ). A lot of money for a tiny short run kit! I paid <£13 delivered from ebay, and that was quite enough! ( at least in my opinion! ).
