Watched this on iplayer tonight and it was fascinating, covers the use of photo recce spits and analysts, also the v1 and v2 threats, you'll have to be quick though, it expires tomorrow but well worth a watch.

Yes very nice film.

A book covering this & many other things is Prof R B Jones "Most Secret War". Incredible story about science & the reason why Britain won the back room war. His own war with Lindemann ( Lord Cherwell) Churchill's top science advisor.

I meant to mention that - was on earlier in the week, very interesting programme. It was extra interesting for me as Danesfield House (aka RAF Medmenham) is now a very nice spa hotel and I took my girlfriend there for a long weekend a couple of years ago, it a great place.
