How can I, or what is the best/safest way to straighten a bent 1/32 resin rifle?

Many thanks in advance

David...

Hi David, had not a lot of experience with resin but you could try hot water, place the barrel into the water for a few seconds, lift out and try very gently to move back into place, keep trying with longer emersions. Another method is to use a heat source, lighter, gas pen, very lightly wave the flame over the bent part of the barrel for a few moments and again try and bend back into shape.

Boiling water is the most commonly used way and the way you will have most control over

I've managed to straighten a few bits of resin using the boiling water technique. Don't force it and keep heating it up. Some large parts you can straighten whilst submerged. I did this to a wheel well insert once, but you should be okay pulling a rifle barrel out.

Cheers
