Hello all

I'm looking for plans to build the educated duck, those of you that remember Tommy Cooper will know what i mean.

i magic part is easy, just need the plans for the duck.

Hey Kev, I think you would need to be a member of the magic circle to get the plans for this trick.

The only thing I could find is the duck on magic trick shops websites for £40 to £50, theres one here -

Pity really cos I'd like to know how it's done.

Hi mossiepilot

I know where this trick is for sale, and your right it's about £50.

but the trick is so simple it does not warrant the cost.

like most things you pay for the idea, all i want is plans to make the duck which will pick up a piece of paper.

the trick is a classic force, where the magician makes you pick the card he wants (easy) the force card is then either placed on top or bottom of the deck and placed so the duck picks up the card.

i'll keep looking the plans are out there some where.
