Just about to start planking deck never done before any tips or does and donts ? would be appreciated

try this guy out YouTube - Trumpeter USN CV-2 Lexington Tutorial 5/6 S2 ep06 scroll in about 6:30 its japanese or somthing but you get the idea. great stuff from this you tube user. there is 7 episodes this is 6. hope this helps.

I am unfamiliar with your model, yet sure it makes little difference to the Billing Boats Wasa I am currently building which also needs decking done. Rather tha myself going through all the different techniques your best bet is have a look at this site where I refer to often:
