Received it this afternoon a present from my lovely wife I will start as soon as I finish the tie fighter, going to be a long build :)

Front and centre please. This will be an epic build.

Now that is a great gift. Well done to your good lady wife!
And yes, I will look forward to seeing this come together - plank by plank.
Great stuff, Brian

Just took it to my model room, I was surprised how heavy it is. (16kg)
I need a few things on top or things I use for plastic models so going shopping today, welcome to all who have got a comfy chair pulled up :smiling3:

Let me know if you want an unboxing (there is a lot) otherwise I won't bother, making a start tomorrow :)

Forget the unboxing... Just worried my eyebrows will not grow long and grey and obscure my vision with the length the build takes....
(There is a review on yt where you get to see the parts)

Spent a couple of hours getting ready for the start tomorrow.

All neat and ready. I reckon the secret to a long, complex build like this is patience and being well organised.

some of us are not actually capable
What always puzzles me though Neil, as an OCD tidy and organised modeller, is how others, whose bench looks like a council tip, produce such awesome results. :rolling:

Decided to do a bit added the beading and rabbit line.
