I noticed an old discussion about having to clean brushes in cellusose thinners after applying Copydex or other rubber-based masking fluids. I thought I might share this little tip with everyone, but there are no guarantees involved, mind.

I find that Copydex and liquid moulding rubber pull off white bristle brushes after setting, leaving them perfectly re-usable. Black bristle brushes become clogged and are utterly wasted. However, I have only used the very cheap white bristle brushes available in cut price shops. I have not tried it with a decent brush and would not advise doing so.

Alternative - I use rubber tipped brushes

As an alternative, I use those soft rubber tipped brushes from Hobbycraft. They are so versatile and the dried masking fluid just rolls off after.
