Hi Gang,

After watching one of Dave Platts latest DVDs i noticed that he had a new stand on the bench. Looking closely i could see that it was made from PVC pipe 40mm and fittings that were glued together. Well, what a great idea. I have made the same using push fit fittings 32mm, this will enable you to dissassemble it after use and store it away neatly. It also allows you to construct it to your special requirement. I have added the central wing support that Daves doesnt have. This can be removed in seconds if not needed. Some non slip matting was wrapped around the tube for obviouse reasons. The whole lot cost around a £10.00 note and took less than an hour to put together. What do you think guys. ( cheers Dave ).

I've seen this sort of thing used for boats very successfully. Very flexible and usefull and you can even connect the sink drain to the bath drain with it!!

Great idea though, thanks for bringing it to peoples attention.
