Fine users of the forum, here is the million dollar question and I hope that someone may be able to answer this?

'Why is it that the Tamiya 1/35 LRDG 1st and second issue(with Breda gun) Chevrolet truck is attracting so much money'?

The more I see this particular model the more I want to have a crack at winning one on evil bay but the prices that some go for sometimes beggars belief. Yes using Google there are a few around I even found one- long out of stock at £9.99 but on said auction site the thing just snowballs

Is it just me or have any of you found yourself strangely attrcted to this particular kit and then had second thoughts?:granade:

This usually happens with discontinued kits, the price is totally disproportionate for what you're buying but it becomes a sellers market

Having said that, it is a rather lovely vehicle. Grit your teeth, shut your eyes and get bidding :cheeseygrin:
