This is one of the vehicles that came along with some others that i ordered from Ebay, It came together with other vehicles as part of a "1/72 German Lot" so i assumed that it was a German vehicle, but i have no way to be sure.

Can someone please help me identify if this is actually a german vehicle or not? Or if the person who sold this to me Ripped off the original turret of a Tank and put that Artillery Piece thing on the Chassis or something?

To me the chassis of the vehicle looks like it belongs to a Tiger I, but i just can't figure out what that artillery piece thing is doing there or if this was an actual vehicle of some sort.

It is a Tiger I chassis but noooooo idea about the artillery. Looks like someone has done a "what if "

The chassis looks like a VK 4501 (Tiger I), but the artillery....i don't know what is. And searching prototypes and panzer variants I don't found nothing. I have a book of tiger I from Osprey and don't say nothing too.

Mmmm.... "what if...."

While it doesn't exactly match the description, there is a Tiger chassis with an 88 gun on it in various forms of configuration with armour plate or without the armour plate. I searched 'Panzer IV with 88 gun' and 'Sonderfahrgestell'.

Okay, I truly appreciate all the info and help. I Took the "Artillery" Piece off of the Chassis, and i made a failed attempt at carving a new and Proper Tiger 1 Turret to put on it (made out of wood).

Is there anywhere that i can get a New Tiger 1 Turret to put on the chassis? I looked on ebay but there are only 2 Turrets, and while being highly overpriced for pieces alone, they are King Tiger Turrets and not Tiger 1's.

Or could i order a new Turret Piece from the manufacturer? (I wouldn't know how to do that)

would it not be easier and probably cheaper to just buy a tiger 1 kit

I would prefer to not buy the Kit because i have never assembled models before besides a Tiger I that i did previously (and it turned out horrible) and a Flak 88 which also came out very poorly.

I just need the piece.
