discussion Cant get AML camo mask to align correctly?

So trying to mask my Academy Tempest V using the AML camo mask. However from the pic below I cant get the correct alignment of the nose mask sections which are in two halves.

Has anyone runt into probs with AML masks before or I'm I doing something totally wrong?

The mask is AMLM 73 012 1/72 scale Hawker Tempest Mk.V so should match my kit?

Looks like a manufacturing fault. I'd personally just mask off the missing bit with some tape. I'd also contact AML to show them the problem to. You never know you might get some freebies from them.

I have sent them an email asking for advice - its one of those generic aml@aml efforts though so will be interesting to see if I get as response.

Got a nice reply from AML this morning. Seems to have been a problem on their side for this particular mask and a new set is on its way.

Very impressed with their quick response.
