Hello Samer,

I only use Tamiya acrylic paints and use Tamiya X20 thinners. I find about a 60% paint to 40% thinners works well in the air brush. However, for brush painting they are not to good but if you are only doing small detailled work as in dash boards or aircraft cockpits I find adding a small amount of water helps to prevent it drying out to fast. Hope this is of help.

Hi Samer if you click on the Scale Model Shop logo at the top of the page it will go into Johns online shop and under the paints section you will be able to veiw all the paints and sets John sells. I'm not sure if John will be able to send you them but at least you will be able to see what paint sets there are and see what types you want.

I use Vallejo paints model air mostly it sprays geat straight in to the airbrush, you can use Vallejo thinners/Tamiya thinners and water to thin it if you wish and its also very good with a brush so it would be a great paint to start with.

I hope this helps and good look with your search and model making

I agree with Ian Samer........ Vallejo paints are superb. Water based. No nasty fumes and there'll be no problems getting them shipped to Iraq. :)

Nice haul of goodies, you will find out what is best, it is just trying and seeing what you like working with. Now go forth and getting building stuff! :D
