discussion colour help needed

I am building an F-2 Lion Aggressor (Kfir).

The instructions give one of the colours as No.47 Sea blue. I have the equivalent in Revell which is Lufthansa Blue having stirred the pot up this seems way to dark. Any help/advise would be appreciated

The Italeri version has the scheme as Grey Blue FS35237, Gray FS36251 and Light Gray FS36307. Which paints are you using Terry, Revell? Easily converted on one of the conversion charts from there.

I have also found the scheme which mentions Gull Grey FS 36440, Compass Grey FS 36320 and Medium Grey FS 35237.

Using the original mix of FS paints I quoted earlier, here is a profile:

I have a mixed bag Joe. I have Revell Vallejo and Tamiya I think I have got the three I need in Vallejo. The ones I may go with are 70867 Dark Blue Grey, 70905 Blue Grey Pale and 70907 pale grey blue. I have an old wing I can test on before hand so it won't mess the buld up.

The second scheme looks more like it Joe I think.
