They featured in the recent spy series The Game. They are used at Cosford for ground instruction by trainee aircraft tradesmen, I did my trade training at Halton and later at Cosford and worked trained on the Jaguars in Airframe Training Squadron.\ said:The Jaguar is Cosfords, they use them to train the flight crew? Those guys that direct aircraft on a runway..... escapes me what they are called.![]()
I lost count of the Jaguars there, I would say easily 30+.
According to my ex RAF friend they use them also to teach basic jets to recruits.
They get a whole lot dirtier than that Joe! They are supposed to be washed every seven days I think from memory and should have a fresh water wash down if they have been operating within a few kilometres of the sea - so everyday then! I don't miss doing that job or winch washes.\ said:Nice photos Adrian. About time someone cleaned that rescue Sea King. That Jaguar, is it privately operated? I thought they were all retired now.
