Dan Finks Speedwagon. Revell/Monogram 1/24
This is a pretty old kit I got off E bay UK. Its based on a real car designed by Thom Taylor . Dan Fink was well known among Hot Rodders of the 80's for making custom grilles, but was quite capable of a whole car, definitely in the 'Billet' style. It won awards and was sold for 136000 Dollars at Pebble beach in 2006. the blue and the brown were done with Tamiya sprays and the wood panel inserts are decals. The highlights on the engine are Tamiya clear blue over chrome. The real car had a satin black roof, but I prefer the blue myself.
