discussion Decal dilemma

I'm am trying to find 1/48 scale USAAF or USAF 45 degree Numbers in White. (24", 16", 12", 6"). I have been searching high & low for this particular style and have had absolutely no luck in finding these ghosts.

Has anyone ever encountered these or know where I may be able to procure such decals? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hannants definitely do that style of letters and numbers in white, not sure exactly what sizes. Search for military aircraft decals (1/48). I think the sheets started appearing on about the third page.

Hey Andy,

They're going to send me their catalog and some sample decals. I have never applied vinyl decals to a plastic though. Do you have or know of anyone who has any experience with them. I am not familiar with the techniques involved in using vinyl. I've always used waterslide transfer type decals for my projects.
