I am just about to start a dio based on the WWI battle of Gaza... How am I going to incorporate bloody snow into that? ........ Suggestions?

Adapt or fall. I was happily plodding along with my present build and now I've got to start something else! If I choose to participate in this little festive Christmas build. You could sideline your Gaza build n join in with something else.


Or just carry on regardless

Peter, I've got it!


I once read that the ex. England footballer Paul Gascoigne's great uncle, also nicknamed 'Gazza' was instrumental in starting the famous Christmas football match between the Brits and the Germans during WW1.


Everything was going along peacefully until Uncle Gazza was hacked down in the penalty box. "No foul!" shouted the Germans - "Bo**ocks!" shouted Uncle Gazza, and promptly picked up a snowball and hurled it at one of the 'enemy'....No one saw the stone he hid in the missile.


In the ensuing 22 man brawl, no one noticed as Uncle Gazza quietly picked up the football and walked off the pitch, back to the British trenches.


So ended the WW1 Battle of Gazza.

It was 1917...... they didn`t have it back then (No McDonald's and no millions of cows farting in South America)......They just had tuberculosis and suffrajettes to worry about.

Very true Peter but that was only because nobody told them global warming was happening
