I managed to duplicate a post and tried to delete one (yes, I know there are safeguards to stop numpties like me from clicking the button twice but we numpties are persistent). When I clicked on the edit/delete I could not find the delete button. Is this just a sign of my stupidity???

The button definately says Edit/Delete message.

I masked it well by changing one of them to say something different.

The edit button is only available to you if you originated the post.Grahame
Grahame,

I can understand why you might want to edit someone else's post but it seems more reasonable that you cannot!

I totally agree with you on both counts!!

My post was to hopefully explain to Duncan why he kept "losing" the edit button.
