This is a great shot on Flickr (not mine) of a F-15 down low in wales, just shows how dirty the cockpit is and the variations in the paint, also the banding on the air intakes.

Looks like it was taken on the "Mach Loop" an area near the town of Machynllech in Mid-Wales.
A friend of my eldest boy has a photograph of a pilot (RAF) looking at the camera and waving !!
Errrm hang on who's steering!!! :astonished:

This is how close they get - and - there is always a good crowd so the pilots make it a little entertaining for the audience.
