Hi all,

Being a fan of the fast and furious series and with the recent loss of The actor Paul Walker unfortunately.

A ebay seller seems to think a price tag like this a a quote of paul walkers name in it will sell for this!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fast-and-Furious-1995-Toyota-Supra-1-25-Scale-New-Sealed-Paul-Walker-/301062011417?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item4618b1ba19

The worst bit about that kit its not going to be great quality definately not worth that!

Just a rant from me, Bugs me to see that happening.

Cheers,Ben

I wonder when I pass away if my models will command a higher price? More likely the bin :D

But I agree Ben, ridiculous pricing. There is a 1970 Dodge Charger AMT kit from T.F.A.T.F for £20: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fast-Furious-1970-Charger-Model-Kit-/181297400997?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2a362acca5 well worth a punt for that money. As for the others...he can keep em.

Si:)

Believe it or not some one will pay it , I remember when the xbox 360 came out and someone sold a box for one and he clearly stated it was a box not the console , some one payed over £200 for it , there's one born every minuet

No probs Ben, free postage too, at that price it probably won't last long. As for others looks like he will re-listing...and re-listing, but, as Alan points out...some idi...er...person will buy em.

Empty boxes can be used to replace damaged or missing ones - and generally toys sell for much more if they're in their original box, so I can sort of understand why people buy them.

I once saw an auction on ebay for an empty tube of Humbrol polystyrene cement. I think it sold for 99p plus P&P!

Gern

I saw this one on e-bay, for a beanie baby. It was from the Princess Diana 'limited collector's edition' or some nonsense, but the best/worst part was that some yokel thought to ask 21,000,000.00 for it. That's right, 21 mil for a stuffed toy.

This is just people trying to cash in on a tragedy. All sorts of weird things on Ebay. The first item sold was a broken laser pointer for $14. An aussie tried to sell New Zealand on Ebay. Bidding got to $3000 before it was taken down. People also sell air guitars, I think one has even sold for over $1000. Some people are just crazy

Someone here tried to sell Australia on our local auction site too. Final bid was $200,045,400, with a reserve price of 50 cents. Crazy, what would you do with all that sand!

Hahahaha, that is pretty good. Another god one was someone was selling an F/A-18 in the US. I think the FBI had to stand in on that one.
