I've just finished this - been working on it since October. It's OOB apart from seatbelts and a couple of tiny parts I had to remake from plastic strip/stretched sprue after interventions by the carpet monster. The only new techniques I tried were re-scribing the odd bit of panel line around the joins, and making the aerial from black lycra thread rather than stretched sprue.

I really enjoyed making this kit and can't recommend it too highly. It has a huge amount of detail, exterior and interior, and goes together just about perfectly. Eduard do lots of versions using more or less the same sprues, so at the end of the build I put more bits in the spares box than most of my builds have to begin with!

There's a rather touching picture of the original here: http://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Bf-110/NJG1-Stab/pages/BW-Bf-110G4-Stab-II.NJG1-(G9+CC)-Walter-Telsnig-Adolf-Breves-Alfred-Ofers-Dusseldorf-1945-01.html. They look like three carefree boys, but I can't help wondering what they were really feeling in early 1945 about the defence of the Reich.

A Great build Doug, and plenty of detail to look at.

That's a great build Doug! Lovely clean paintwork & excellent finishing.

I've been trying to decide between an Eduard 110 or the Airfix new tool ... I'm still not sure!

Very nice. A nice clean and menacing night fighter!

Breves was born 1916 and was by far the oldest. He died in 1993, so good for him. The other two look much younger. Ofers looks like he has had the day off school, which is a sad reflection of the state of the Luftwaffe in 1945.

Cheers

Steve

Great build Doug, superbly finished and a nice little bit of history to go with it.

I had a look in the box of one of these last week and was very impressed with the contents.....and tempted after seeing this fine effort.

lovely job, I have also been looking at one of the Bf110 from Eduard. Looking at this I may have to leap in and get one.
