Electric Motor for Tamiya PT-15 Torpedo Boat

Greetings everyone, I am new to this forum.

I am looking for an electric motor to install on a Tamiya 1/72 PT-15 Torpedo Boat. The instructions sheet mentioned a RE-36 electric motor but suggested that a high performance motor would be required for Radio Control. Any suggestion please?

Do you have the spec for the motor?

A word of warning, a man i knew sailed these plastic kit models and found that he had to change the prop from the kit-supplied variety to an alternative, he also invariably swamped the boat every time he used reverse, resulting in at least one sinking.

Before upgrading the motor, it may be wise to give it a try.
