Hello my Friends.
Just had a look at emodels site and they are selling Tamiya acrylic at £2.95 And a bottle of x20a thinner at £14.95.
Complete rip off.

Won't do them any good in the long run Ralph, unless there is a world wide shortage, as people will remember.

Never been my favourite supplier - very slow as well.

For a 10 ml or 23 ml bottle of paint? Going by the outrage I suspect 10 ml, as these days I’d consider it a good price for the bigger bottle :) (Oh, the days when you got 23 ml for ƒ2.50, or in current money, about €1.13 …)

Not that I order regularly from them but I've never had a problem with them?

Some of the odd things i've bought off them have been cheaper than other sites (mostly Hannants) and they've delivered on time. If that price is for the 10ml then i can understand the IP.

Well, the answers simple - shop around - the price for a 10ml Tamiya Acrylic is around the £1.85 mark on other sites - could just be having to recently restock at a higher price. I don't think emodel are any worse or better than 99% of retailers, I'm afraid these days, I hunt for the best deal, there's no one-stop shop for everything! ;)

You're right there isn't. But when you don't have time to surf the multitude of shops out there due to work commitments, place like Hannants are invaluable because of the ease to order everything at once. Obviously you pay higher for this ease but i have to make that sacrifice to spend time on more important things.

Just checked and John's got x20A at less than half that price! I can't really blame shops for trying to get a little more under the current circumstances as many are in desperate trouble due to the lockdown, but as you say, that's definitely taking the p**s!

Weirdly, when I ordered from a webshop in the Netherlands the other week, they were giving a 5% discount on pretty much everything because of the lockdown. I just checked, and they still are.
