This kit was recently ordered and I should have it by next week to start a build on this site. I have built a few Revell -Monogram F-105 Thuds, but all in 1/72 scale. This will be the first in 1/48 scale as it is not molded in 1/72. I have done the F-105D, F-105G and F-105F. Here is my current purchase and some pictures of the last Thud build a 1/72 Monogram F-105F.193571-12332-60-pristine.webpF105F 5.webpF105F 6.webp

Fixed headrest, instructions said paint all one color, only the actual headrest that hits the pilots helmet should be red! I shoulda known better! Senior moment!

We've all been there, I did it in my latest build. Cockpit looks fantastic John, nice work

I put the cockpit, nose wheel well and wing spar in and taped the 2 fuselage halves together to see how the fit was, now to take the tape off and add nose weight then cement fuselage halves up permanently.

Thanks, they definitely are a "work of art". I cut my teeth on Revell-Monogram from '63-'64. I still think their Thud is one of the best anywhere. Fuselage all glued up, only a teeny tiny hairline gap in a seam you'll never see.
