Hi everyone here's hoping santa brings you plenty of models.

My question is for the f5 c as above stationed in Bien Hoa airbase flown by the VNAF .

Has anybody done this camo paint scheme?

If so what paints did you find matched best. I prefer the Tamiya range if possible.

There doesn't seem much info available. My model will be 1:48 Tiger hobbies F5 Skoshi tiger Freedom fighter

Tamiya paint finishes well, even though it reeks :-) A good base colour for German Mountain Troops is Humbrol number Matt 149, Revell Matt 48 is also sometimes good, along with Humbrol 24 & 26, and even Humbrol 94 helps too, no particular scheme, but these colours are da bomb

Cheers for the information but the f5c tiger Freedom fighter is a fighter jet ued in the cold war. But your comment illustrates perfectly my problem most search engines pick up the name Tiger and think German tank.

Cheers Daz
