Hi all, here we have my latest. Tiger 1 (another one lol) from Tamiya, and a joy to build. This one was built under orders from the wife, so fitted it with PE zimmerit from Eduard. When i finished putting all the zim on i flowed very thin super glue all over the PE to give it a more scale appearance, i'm glad it worked and you can still see it. Sorry Ron (spanner570) it was painted with the airbrush, i did however tried using oils for dry brushing and i'm more then happy with the results. I can't say much more about it but the wife loves it and it's now in pride of place where some of her stuff was.

Have fun, John

John boy, that is one great looking Tiger 1.....nice to see a late steel wheeled version too!

As we is mates, I'll not remove you from the brush club membership....This time!

Leisure points for life, me thinks........Now, when is Santa Pod this year? You will be able to ask for a new tent!

Big 5 mate,

Ron

Hi John thats a great looking Tiger i bet your wife is well pleased, is it staying like that or going on a mini diorama ? well worth 5 stars

Thats a top tiger John! You've done a good job on the zimmerit as often think the PE stuff is a bit false looking.

I like your chipping too, overall a great result!

Patrick

Great looking Tiger John, the paint is superb! I like the front shot very menacing looking from that angle. That zimmerit looks spot on ,very nicely done Sir 5 stars! cheers Trey

Fantastic looking cat there John, great build and a great paint job.....very well done mate.

John a great build and some realistic weathering on those tracks. Well done.

Thanks everyone, i'm still gobsmacked Wendy wanted me to build this for her. It has got me wondering what i could get away though, but i think the 1/32 He219 that Steve (Stona) posted would be pushing it lol.

Ron mate going to give Santa Pod a miss this year, plus i'm saving up for a new car so the money would be better spent on that.

Ian (papa 695), she wasn't bothered about a diorama so i got out of it lol. I've just seen her looking in my stash, i don't know if i should be worried.

Thanks again. :grinball2:

Have fun, John

It's brilliant, especially tracks and painting work with damages on the surface. I'm impressed. Regards Bart

Thanks Bart, at one time i would run the other way at the sight of individual track links. But now i find it very therapeutic, it's that or i'm sad lol.

Have fun, John
