discussion Forum time out

Help please.

How long is the default time out for this forum.

I'm a slow typist and if I do a post I often find that I have to sign in again to put the post up.

Is there a way to extend the time out so I don't have to re-sign in.

I've never timed out on the forum yet and i've left the page open for a couple of hours without doing anything

When you sign into forums you normally get a "remember me" box on the log in area ... if you check that box then you can leave the forum open as long as you wish without it timing out.

This way when you navigate away from the forum or just switch the PC off when you access the forum again you're also signed in automatically, If you're a little dubious about leaving yourself signed in when "offline" then just log out as normal and then check the box again when you next log in.
