FYI, a new 1/32 USN carrier tow tractor soon available

FYI,

Andy Meyers over at Special Ops Models will soon be releasing (within the next couple of weeks) a 1/32 USN carrier tow tractor.

Anyone who is familiar with Andy's work will tell you he is a top shelf sculptor and modeler.

The kit will consist of (11) resin parts, decals, and brass wire for handles and tie downs.

Andy figures the cost will be well under $60.00 (USD).

I'm going to buy one to go with my 1/32 Tamiya F-14D.

Hopefully this will be the first in a series of 1/32 USN carrier rigs.

These are just a couple of preliminary pictures for the box art.

Some out of the box pics of the tow tractor.

My 1/32 tow tractor arrived from Special Ops Models.

The resin castings are flawless, and the detail is very impressive,

There is a very convincing non-skid texture on the top surfaces of the model.

Tires are complete with tread, and the wheel pattern looks very good too.

The instruction sheet is in color and clearly spells out decal (included) placements.

Andy says next on the list is a 1/32 flight deck fire tractor, and a tow tractor with a generator on the back.

He says that he would also like to do some other 1/32 flight deck vehicles and accessories.
