Having read so much about Johnsons Klear as a gloss coat prior to decal application and weathering, excluding this what is your prefered gloss coat.
I have tried Xtracrylix and Humbrol but not a fan of these.
Post here your preferred product.
Cheers Alan

There are two that I use:
Alclad Aqua Gloss is excellent for a water based option.
More recently I have tried MRP Super Clear Gloss, along with their semi-gloss, semi matt and matt varnishes and I find these superb, as good to spray as their paints are.

Windsor & Newton Galeria. I've been using the gloss and matte to good effect.

Probably of little use to you Alan, as I only brush paint. But I use Wilco quick dry gloss varnish, thinned if necessary with turps. Works a treat......

I'm not being flippant or ow't, it's what I use......£3.50 for 250 ml.
