lmao...wha t f ?

Thats lost me a bit, Paper/Cardboard ! It may have gotten lost in translation. But anyway, Welcome to Origami for beginners UK Pro forum!

All of our models are made from newspaper and sticky backed plastic, Oh and the odd disused sock. Sometimes we even get to use scissors! That's if nurse NIgelD is supervising.

Unfortunately we arent allowed to use spoons anymore, after an unfortunate error by Onewinglo. Cooking up crack cocaine and eating icecream while modelling is never good advice.

Am I always last to do the welcome bit on the forum?

Jerzy,

incredible models and using material such as paper and cardboard. You are truly gifted and very welcome.

Paper and cardboard has long since been a very popular medium for model ship building, even for working models.

I have seen a number of RC working card models which look very impressive. Obviously the trick is in the proofing afterwards but when you think about it wood is not very waterproof until you coat it with paint, resin, varnish etc. Card is just the same. Cover it with resin afterwards and really the card is simply being used as as vehicle to soak up the resin.

Man, and i thought he was kidding...Cardboard!

I eats da humble pies!

LOOOOOOOOOOL@the last few posts!

Welcome to the forums, your sites really nice and some great models. Also i actually loved the photo on the cycling part! wow thats some beauitful countryside! I would love to ride my bike through that!

TC- card modelling is quite popular, personally i would rather glue my fingers together than use card but, as richard said, people make some amazing creations with just paper, card and glue!

Using a high quality thin card is not dissimilar to using Plasticard in many ways.

Just as versatile and easy to shape and cut.
