Well while I was at work I thought I would look into collecting some bits to enhance the Tamiya Spit that is waiting for me when I get home.

I tracked down some resin detail sets for it supplied by a guy in Canada from this site:

I have to say not only did they supply the resin pieces but he also helped out with a continuous string of e-mails giving sound advice and encouragement.

An excellent supplier who will take international credit cards and will ship worldwide.

Not wanting to detract from our home grown Squiffy but as far as I am concerned anyone who goes out of his way to help his customers deserves support.

found a BAe Lightning Cockpit Set on there as well. pitty its too late for colin! nice selection of stuff he has there.

i can see myself using him next time i make a plane!

although i looked through most the site and couldnt find a spitfire anything!

.........and you found resin parts for your spit, wow.....i looked for AGES to find some resin bits but had to settle for the Eduard PE set, a pity really as i prefer resin!
