Well what has now become an annual post I would just like to say happy birthday to scale-models, 2 years old today but more importantly a big thank you to everyone that has contributed to the forum, no matter if you have only posted once every post has been important and has helped to build this forum in to what has become, a great community, and also a big thanks to the top posters wonwinglo, adzam, duncan, Nigel.D, Bunkerbarge, Bluewavestudios, Kiwi, dynamite25, new to trains who between then have made nearly 7000 posts, keep up the good work

Right new suggestion resulting from our birthday celebrations and our first group build!!! We all agree that its thanks to John that we have our thriving community and that it was his foresite and dedication that brings us this forum today !!!! So my suggestion is the winning model from the group build (I mean one that recieves the most votes ) be given to John as thanks for all his work and as recognition from all of us !

It's a nice thought but I haven't really done that much, I bought a bit of software and a domain and the members have done the rest :music_too

Happy Birthday to everyone.

I never knew forums could be so much fun, offer such rewards and be generally so entertaining as this one is. I have 'met' many new friends and shared many snippets of usefull and useless information, but the most important bit is that I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

For that I thank each and every member of this forum. As John says he provided the software and the domain, for which we are all gratefull but, at the end of the day "we" are the forum.

By the way of the 7000 posts Barry must have contributed the vast majority!! I think we should change his name from Wonwinglo to Yoda!
