I am going to be de-stocking the Iwata airbrushes I have in stock and moving to Harder & Steenbeck


I have only ordered 4 different ones but will be increasing the range over time, I will also be stocking accessories, needles, nozzles etc, if you are wanting anything I don't stock please let me know and I will get it in for you.

First class airbrushes John. Matter of interest why are you giving up Iwata ?


Difficulty in obtaining them at the right price to make it viable ? More interest form model makers ?


Having used both Iwata and H & S I would say you are not down grading as they are much on a par equal advantages and disadvantages.

iwata make some of the best airbrushes around. The amount of chinese copies on the net is testament to how popular their designs are. so why this destocking?

Quite right John but have you used an H & S. Used them solely for 3 years and still do equally with Iwata but for different tasks.

Love my h&s. It's the cr+ model and has the triple seals. It's so easy to clean, breaks down in seconds and is so smooth. Wish they did a .3 needle. I've got the .2 and .6 for detailing and priming/painting

I love the Ultra 2 in 1, can strip it completely and have it spotless in minutes, the nozzles deliver top quality finish, what's not to like? It's every bit as good as the old De Vilbis Super 63 that was de rigeur in the old analogue days, and cost an absolute fortune! I'd still settle for a Badger 200, though - now there's simplicity!

Dougie H & S do provide normally as standard with this brush a .4 . I use that with mine and it is a good all rounder. You will get much better control with the .4 than the .6. Bought mine with the optional extra of the .6. Found it was difficult to control. For the same trigger movement you have much less paint spueing out.

Nice airbrushes the H+S line, but the two-in-one thing is a gimmick. There is nothing I can do better by having an airbrush with a 0.2mm AND 0.4mm needle than I can with an airbrush with a 0.3mm needle (which give or take a few hundredths is pretty standard on many types).


If you need to swop needles/nozzles, then practice some more

I bought the 0.6 for the car bodies, I don't use it for anything else, need a good quick coat to minimize drying out between sweeps. Ideally I would get a fan pattern brush with a bigger compressor but... That was going to be like 600 bucks. My compressor can't handle fan pattern requirements.


I will pick up a 0.4 soon, I think as you at its the best all rounder

Due to the amount I now have to buy to get them at the right price, I've always been able to get the same price if I bought 1 or 20, I usually buy the Neo's in 10's but now to get the them at the same price I have to buy 48 which is far too many especially when there are so many people on eBay selling them willing to make £2/£3 profit on each, all the others I have to buy them in 12's which is still a lot, too many to keep consistent stock levels.

fair enough mate. At least you are still stocking excellent airbrushes in your shop
