thought I'd go for something smaller in scale , had this kit for awhile . not use to small scale see how I go .
got the wood work , now for that fiddly painting .

finally able to get back on to this build , onwards and upwards
 
That is looking great Steve. I like the wood effect you've got great work so far.

Looks great mate, you know if you use enamels and you clean your brushes in white spirit, if you rub the dirty thinners over the plastic sails it makes them look more like canvas, you can see the effect in my royal sovereign build.

afraid I just haven't used enamels mate , acrylics are just too easy , for this lazy modeller , LOL

nearly finished , just some coils of rope to add , also added a a pic comparing drakes ship , to nelson;s , apparently the scales are the same

Looking good. Is the Victory the same scale as the Golden Hind?

thank's guy's ,apparently the box say's 1/200 , but in reality it's about 1/96 , and the victory is 1/100 , and drake was a legal pirate in that little tub LOL
trouble is finding some place to put them all ken LOL

You don't say, I ran out of room yrs ago my scratch built ships the smallest was 52 inches and of course the 1/8 cars are huge. Get used to it mate models take up room.
