Dears,

Could you please help me gathering reference material on Triumph 3WH? I’ve got ITALERI kit in 1:9 and would like to build it in some unusual version. Did it have a sidecar, utility cart or anything else that would make my model different from other Triumphs in 1:9.

Regards,

Marudek

Hi Plastickitbasher

Thanks for your help. I like that "Greek style" Triumph - that map looks awesome. But I'm thinking of something more sophisticated than just another dirty bike with unfolded map... I did some research and found these snapshots from "Eden" movie:

Is it only a fiction or was it military used in ww II. Can anyone help me finding more reference on this? Do you know anything of this vehicle? Have you got any other pictures (top, side, rear view)?

The bike was most definitely used in WW2 in every theatre in which British and Commonwealth troops operated. It is a militarised version of the Tiger80. You may find some useful references for that which you could transfer to your version.

Thanks Steve - I know that solo version was well known wherever British and Commonwealth troops fought. But was that sidecar equipped version really operaitng or is it just the movie? Could it be a civilian motorbike with sidecar annexed by the army?

Maybe I'll find something if I start looking for Tiger 80 with sidecar :fool:
