Hi guys

Latest 1 72 rail project ,bit unusual this .this is the schienenwolf " rail wolf " when hitler knew it was all over he ordered the destruction of all rail tracks leading to Berlin to slow advancing armies this was the thing they used towed behind a loco the hook was dropped on to track and ripped up all the wooden ties as it moved along , this was part of his scorched earth policy.

The dio was made using a hobby boss desiel and scratch built wolf all torn rails were made from wood.Hope you like all comments or questions welcom.

Thanks for comments guys ,did not know if anyone would like it being a bit unusual.

I do like it excellent stuff there.

It has a bit of dr beeching about it only a few years early

great build Barry,do real lov this one, very well put together, nice scratch work, and painting very well done ;)

Great diorama Barry, love the figures and the engine is superbly finished. An unusual theme, good choice.

Cracking diorama of a very interesting subject. Beautifully executed and perfectly presented.

Excellent! Next time put a flak anti aircraft gun on the train to add more interest.

Anyway, a novel subject that is very interesting. The wood effect and hinges look fantastic
