Hi all well I'm calling this finished. I wanted it to look like it had been left out in a rain shower and the rain had dried on, so as an experiment I diluted matt varnish about 50% then used a tooth brush to flick rain drops on it, I quite like it and think it worked quite well.

Have to say I really like this. It's got the same amount of water Marks as my car lol. the model looks pretty realistic in general
