How far do you go before you have to stop calling it a 'conversion'

My latest project, completed.

A 1:76 rendition of a rare RAF Tractor. In RAF terms a 'Tractor, Straussler, Type B (Light). A military version of the Straussler Sturdy. Introduced in 1936, it was a 4x4 design with a drawbar pull of 2500lb which equated to a capability of 6-10tons. It was certainly in use at the beginning of WW2, but I suspect it wouldn't have made it to the end.

I've finished in a pre-war scheme, using Humbrol 112 with a couple of splashes of Humbrol 64 light grey. Humbrol 96, the accepted colour, is actually RAF uniform colour, and too light for RAF vehicles.

I'll leave you to guess what the original/ donor kit was....

Nope....actually Airfix/ JB models Landrover! (wheels and axles)

Nice conversion of a unique vehicle. Those little JB Models vehicles are quite nice kits.
